Deleting your RackIT Judge account
Last updated 2026-09-23
This page says how to delete your account, what that removes, what RackIT keeps and why, and how long RackIT keeps information. RackIT Sports LLC. Dated September 23, 2026. Shown in the RackIT Judge apps and at judge.rackit.net/delete-account.
You can delete your RackIT Judge account at any time. It cannot be undone.
1. How to delete your account
In the app: open the Account tab, tap Delete account, and tap Confirm in the sheet that appears. If you are the only admin of a venue, hand that role to someone else first.
Without the app: email hello@judge.rackit.net from the address your account uses. We may ask you to confirm the account is yours; we never ask for a password, a card number or an identity document. Once confirmed, we delete the account and send one email confirming it.
2. What happens when you confirm
- Your name, profile photo and email address are removed from your account and from every game record that held them; the email address is freed so you can sign up with it again.
- You are signed out everywhere, and your passkeys and your Google and Apple sign-in links are deleted from RackIT Judge. You can also remove RackIT Judge from the list of apps in your Google or Apple account settings.
- Your venue memberships and staff roles, your free trial, any access RackIT gave you, and your email preference are deleted.
- Your place in any lobby that has not started is released, with its card hold.
- Courtside Judge Unlimited ends at once and does not renew. The unused part of the current month is not refunded unless the law requires it. To keep Unlimited until the end of the month you have paid for, cancel it in Account first and delete your account after that date.
- You lose access to every game you took part in. Games no other player still has disappear at once for everyone and are then deleted, with their video.
- Your customer record at Stripe, our payment processor, is deleted once every payment on it has settled.
- If you sign up again, the new account starts empty; old games are not returned to it.
3. What is kept, and why
- Games other players still have. They keep the game, its video and statistics; you appear in it as "Guest". Each such game is deleted when its last player leaves or deletes their account.
- Payment records, for accounting and tax: the amount, date, venue, court, what was bought, the tax treatment and Stripe's reference, kept for at least seven years under an account number, never naming a game. You can still ask about a charge afterwards (Terms of Service, 6.8).
- Your acceptance of the Terms and Privacy Policy: the versions you accepted, a digital fingerprint (digest) of their text and of the boxes you ticked, the app platform and version you accepted on, and when, kept under an account number for at least seven years from the date you accepted, as the record of the agreement your account was used under. It holds no name, email address or IP address.
- Your agreement to Unlimited's renewal terms, if you had Unlimited: the terms and price shown to you and when you agreed, kept for at least three years under an account number.
- A record that the account was deleted, and of staff actions on it, without names.
- Training data and venue usage counts. Tracking data and court video from games you played may have been copied to RackIT's training repository, before or after you delete your account (Privacy Policy, section 6). The tracking copy holds no video and nothing that identifies you, the game, the venue or the court: no names, account numbers, game numbers, venue, court, dates or clock times; RackIT keeps no link between that copy and you and will not make one. The video copy is kept apart from accounts, is never public and is never used for face recognition. Deleting your account does not remove either copy. Anyone who takes over RackIT's business must agree in writing to the same commitment before receiving it.
- Clips anyone saved to a device, which are outside our reach.
- Copies in backups and logs, until they age out on their own schedules.
- Stripe's own records of your payments, under Stripe's rules.
4. How long RackIT keeps information
A game's video and data may be kept longer while a dispute, review, security matter or legal claim is open, or while the game is waiting to be copied for training.
- Name, email address and sign-in: until you delete your account.
- Games, video and statistics: while at least one of its players keeps the game, then deleted. Video has no fixed limit today.
- Tracking data: while the game is kept, deleted with it. The court computer keeps its copy until we clear it.
- Records of how your place in each game was paid for: for a limited time after the game, then removed by our clean-up, or with the game if that comes first.
- Payment and tax records: at least seven years.
- Acceptance record: at least seven years from acceptance, including after deletion.
- Unlimited agreement record: at least three years after Unlimited ends.
- De-identified tracking data in the training repository, and venue usage counts: indefinitely. Training video: as long as RackIT needs it to develop its products.
- Backups, logs, records of staff actions, support emails: their own limited periods.
5. Leaving a game instead
To keep your account but stop having one game, open the finished game and tap Remove me from this game. This ends what you can see of that game. It is not a deletion of your information; deleting your account (sections 1 to 3) is the only way to do that. You lose the game's report and video, the other players keep it and are not told, and once no player is left the game is deleted. It cannot be undone, refunds nothing, does not reach clips anyone saved, and does not stop de-identified data from the game being copied to the training repository.
